R6400 Internet Coonection

Not a techie, so understand I asking for a simple response. Internet thru Cox. Have Desktop (Dell), two 6s iphones and a couple of Ipad in play at any time. Today My desktop lost internet connection this morning and Cox had no outages and felt that it might be the router. Ipads had connection, then lost and then regained. My iphone along with Desktop lost connection for the longest period. Finally after visiting with Cox and trying the old "restart" process all device came back to life and connected. Question is there a simple way to test router to determine if that is the problem in this case or in any case?

Is that accurate?  Not R6400v2?  Look at the product label.  Firmware
version?  Connected to what?

You have some kind of modem?

Define "simple"?  Probably not without some useful information.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Read.  Look for the
LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot".

I assume that your (unmentioned) modem also has some LED indicators,
which might provide some information.
