R6400 v2 switch to 2.4 ghz to connect a dlink security cam .

On the R6400 router how do I switch to 2.4 so I can connect a security camera ? I am using windows 10 on a hp pc ?

   "switch"?  What?  Why?  If the 2.4GHz radio is configured/enabled on
the R6400, then a 2.4GHz device should simply work.

   Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Look for "Specify Basic WiFi
Settings".

I baught the NetGear 12 to replace an older netgear 5 . The camera is a dlink dcs 932 L was working on the old NetGear 5 but won't connect to the new router ( AC 1750 model # R 6400 v2 ) I was told it needs to connect on the 2.4 ghz . How do i connect the camera to the new router ?

Have you power cycled the Modem>Router>Switch>Camera? (In that order)

Also are you having trouble with connecting other devices?
