RBK 50 and 2G

I want to set my orbi system to 2g instead of 5 go so I can get greater distance.  I have determined that if I get the distance, I will get plenty enough speed, but I just need to get good signals first.  When I first set up my orbi, it gave me the ability to click on 2g or 5g, but I cant find that anymore.

Can anyone put up a link or direct me where onsite it will tell me how to do this?

Thanks

That's not how it works. The band used is down to the wifi clients.

If a device has problems communicating at 5 GHz it will drop back to 2.4 GHz.

If you insist on having things that can handle 5 GHz running at 2.4 GHz, investigate the wifi device itself and see if there is a way to force it to connect at 2.4 GHz.

One thing you can do at the router end is to disable the SSID broadcast for 5 GHz. Details are in the manual.
