Replacing Belong model for NBN - D7000v2
First time poster, and absolutely belting my head against the wall here.
Had NBN with Belong in Perth. Using their issued modem. No issues.
Moved to Brisbane in April 2019 in an area that did not have NBN. So Belong had to revert me back to ADSL in the interim.
I realised that I couldn't even game online due to its terrible speeds.
May 2019, purchase D7000v2. Advised by JB HiFi staff that this is also able to be used with the NBN network.
This week, Belong switched over to NBN. I have tried to use the Netgear modem, no luck.
Plug in Belong modem. No issues, it's good to go.
I get my ISP details and try to reset the router, and go through and use the Wizard to set up. It will not even load the genie nor load any pages with the modem at all.
I'm unsure what else I can attempt at this stage because it seems to not load nor recognise the network.
Any solutions? I can provide screenshots of all the info if need be.

What, exactly, does "tried to use" mean here? Is this still some
kind of DSL connection?

What is "Belong modem"? Has it a maker and model number?

Eh? Are you trying to say that you somehow connected some
computer/device to the D7000v2, opened some web browser, put in some
URL, and got some kind of error message? Or are you trying to use some
"Genie" app or other? Or what? As usual, showing actual actions with
their actual results (error messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more
helpful than vague descriptions or interpretations.

A better description should do the job at least as well as pictures.
