I went to update the router within the Netgear Genie program. It failed to update but then the lights went out and now the power light is slowly blinking. Which as I read means a firmware problem. Can't get it reset so the computer will see it.

Maybe this will help? But have you first of all just tried a factory reset?

Hi. I did try a factory reset and that didn't work. Tried the procedure you suggested but still nothing. The green power light just keeps slowly blinking.
