Router not reach far

My kids can use internet and there room is just 10ft from the router why is this happening

Assuming that you mean "can not use internet", how are they connecting to the internet in their room? Wifi? 2.4GHz? 5 GHz? What with? What do they see when they try?

They lost signal they are using wifi in they ipads

Lost signal or lost connection?

The signal may still be there, but the connection fell over. Or the wifi may have gone off. Any clues from the lights on the router?

As before, 2.4GHz of 5GHz? 2.4GHz is slower but travels further.
