Router slowing down Connection Speed

I recently hooked up my WNDR4500 after a new cable modem after moving.

I have a 100 MBit contract, but I only received about a third of that speed on my computer that was connected to the router.

So, I connected the computer to the modem directly and tested the speed again. Voilá: 95 MBit.

Back to the router: 35 MBit.

What is happening here? Are there any settings that could do this? I checked all the Limitation Settings in the router interface I could find, but they are all turned off..

I read about that maybe the MTU could be an issue - but I don't know how to find the correct value ...?

Re: Router slowing down Connection Speed

Try lowering down the MTU size.
