Router speed

Hello

I have 114mbs coming into my cable modem but only 50mbs coming out of the router. Is there a setting I need to change ?

You need to include some details.

Wired or Wireless?

Speedtesting it how?

What is the "Link Speed" of the Wired or Wireless devices.

 - Wired is hopefully Gigabit

 - Wireless is hopefully 300 but it could be 144 or 72 (depending on laptop hardware&settings, router settings)  If wireless link speed is 72 then a speedtest of 50 is probably okay.
