What makes you think that they're "closed"?

Ports 80 and 443 are the normal web server/browser ports (for HTTP
and HTTPS, respectively). If they were "closed" for normal use, then I
don't see how you could use a web browser for any normal purposes.

In my experience, people who talk about ports being "open" often
don't understand the problem.  In this case, with my weak psychic
connection to both you and "arlo support", I know approximately nothing
about your actual problem.

Not a useful problem description.  It does not say what you did.  It
does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual, showing actual
actions with their actual results (error messages, LED indicators, ...)
can be more helpful than vague descriptions or interpretations.

I have never had to do anything to get my three Arlo base stations to work (Pro 2 plus 2 Ultra). I just plug them into the wired LAN.

Have you tried your problem on the Arlo support forum?

I doubt if ports have anything to do with whatever is going on at your end.
