Any help would be great. My r7800 has lost wifi functionality since last night. The frequencies are broadcasting and can connect but the connected device says 'internet may not be available'. Ive updated the firmware and defaulted the router, still not working. Ive also installed previous firmware and still not working. Its within the year time but tech support is trying to get me to buy the gearhead plan in order to troubleshoot it. According to them you must rely on the community for further assistance. So here I am. Any direction please.
OS: across multiple devices of all types. Thanks in advance

If your (unspecified) "multiple devices of all types" can all connect
wirelessly to your router, then what makes this any kind of "lost wifi
functionality"? Have you tried a wired device? If you disconnected a
perfectly good router from your ISP, then I'd expect a result like
"internet may not be available".
So far, I see no evidence that your problem, whatever it is, has
anything to do with your router. Perhaps if you had some/any evidence
of a router problem, then you might have better luck getting a
replacement router from Netgear.

To what?

Which was what?
What's between your router and your (unspecified) ISP? Some kind of
modem or other?
What do the LED indicators on your router (or your modem?) indicate?
What does its management web site tell you? Visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for "Troubleshooting".

You first.

Future readers should learn about as much from that "solution" as
from the original problem "description".
