Using 2 WNR1000

I have two WNR1000 and I'm trying to set up a network that others can connect remotely. So I have two issues. I know nothing about networking, but can change settings in the admin web interface.

The reason I say I have two is I have two wired computers that are nowhere near the current router (the other is in the box). I'd like to use the second as a relay or bridge (if possible) for the wired computers away from the main router.

I'm using Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6.

Thanks for any dialog that will help walk me through this...or tell me it's not possible.

Re: Using 2 WNR1000

I don't think wnr1000 has WDS (wireless distribution system) in the router interface.

if you don't see then answer is NO. BOTH have to have WDS do wireless repeat ...

you will need like WN2000RPT instead if does not have WDS ...
