Very slow upload speed r6700

Hello, I'm getting very slow upload speed and I have no idea why. It will only get up to 0.6 mb on a speed test. Is there a way to fix this? Also I'm using a TP-Link range extender ethernet port.

What modem/gateway is the router connected to?

What firmware is on the router?

How are you testing speeds? Directly connected to the router? using wireless? wireless 2.4ghz or 5ghz?

What website are you testing on?

What speeds do you get directly connected to the modem/gateway?

What speeds do you get wired to the router?

Make sure not to test connected to the extender. Extenders drop throughput 50% of what they're getting (for single/dual band) and thats what they're getting. and upload is already slow.

Try testing directly off the modem/gateway to see if thats the lmiiting factor.

And finding out what modem/gateway it is.
