WGR614v10 needs to be reset when traffic gets heavy

My WGR614v10 needs to be reset frequently. /we used to have to unplug it but i found out if I do a release then renew after logging into the router that works. I can actually do this and continue downloading large files. However, I don't want to have to do this.

We have wireless which is used by two laptops, some ipods and it is directly wired to two desktops. One has ubuntu 10.04 and the other Windows XP.

Is there something i need to do so this will stop happening. Today, it happened when my husband was the only one using one of the laptops so there wasn't much going on.

thanks,
tm
