I did a firmware update last night and all appeared to be fine until I went to my iphone & ipad to access WiFi. The network shows as it always has but it doesn't like my password on either device, even though they are stored on the devices. I've tried rebooting my unit but there's no change. I've tried re-entering my password and no luck and I'm confident I'm using the right password. I've even tried changing the password from my PC but it doesn't like the password. I even punched in the old original password that came with the unit and it didn't like that either.

The next step would be a settings reset.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Look for "Factory Settings"
(or "reset").
Restoring old saved settings could restore the old problem(s), too,
so a manual reconfiguration will be required after the reset.

Re: WNDR3400v3 - firmware update to v1.0.1.24
I tried the reset button on the back and that didn't work. I then went to the manual as suggested and found how to erase it back to original settings and that did the trick.I'm back in business.....Thanks !!!!

"tried" how, exactly? Used according to the instructions in the User
Manual, it should.

How was that?

Thanks for the report. (What could go wrong?)
