   "this"?  Networking?  Writing in sentences?

> [...] l have got myself a N900 WNDR4500 router [...]

   Why?

> [...] have connected to the Internet [...]

What, exactly, did you connect to what, exactly?  (Hint: If a device
has different types of ports, then "connected to device" is not enough
detail.)

> [...] lve got WiFi but no Internet [...]

   From the WNDR4500?

> [...] when I connected through my sky broadband hub [...]

What, exactly, is your "my sky broadband hub"?  Maker?  Model number?

What, exactly, did you connect to what, exactly?  (Hint: If a device
has different types of ports, then "connected to device" is not enough
detail.)

> [...] the Internet light goes orange [...]

   "goes"?  What was it before?

> [...] and l still can use WiFi, [...]

   "use" how?  For Internet access?

> [...] any suggestions on sorting this out [...]

Describe your gizmos, and what you're trying to do with them?  Find
the "." key on your keyboard, and use it?  (It should be near the ","
key.)

   Still a mystery.

"connected" _what_?  How much do you think that anyone here knows
about "the Internet port on [your] wall socket"?

Which part of "exactly" was unclear to you?

> [...] as displayed on the diagram [...]

At most, only one of us can see it.

With your communication skills, you might need to get some local
help.

That is an old (2013) router.

What do you hope to do with the WNDR4500? Sky usually supplies a device that also acts as a router. (The exact nature of its boxes depends on the sort of Internet you get.)

Two routers on your network can cause headaches. This explains some of the drawbacks.

What is Double NAT? | Answer | NETGEAR Support

If you just want the WNDR4500 to extend your wifi, then look into putting it into "AP mode".

This does disable some features, but nothing that is likely to matter much given your Sky box.

Disabled Features on the Router when set to AP Mode | Answer | NETGEAR Support

Visit the support pages:

Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Check the section in the manual that describes AP Mode. If you can't leave the WNDR4500 plugged into the Sky thingy, you could also look at the bit in Wireless Repeating Function (WDS).

Re: WNDR4500 N900

Good luck.

You might get more sense out of people if you described what you were trying to do, and the details of your local network.
