WNDR4500v2 Genie not displaying fully

WNDR4500v2 Firmware Version - V1.0.0.72_1.0.45

When loging in to the router admin page (www.routerlogin.net) more than half of the menu is missing.

I have tried accessing from various devices with the same result. They are :-

tower PC running windows 10 Pro version 21H1 - OS build 19043.1110

iMac running macOS Mojave version 10.14.6

iPhone Xs running ios 14.7.1

I am unable to find the firmware update facility in the router admin pages.

The support pages of Netgear advise to download their update (and executable file .exe) and run it; but the firmware files offered by Netgear are a ".chk" and "html" files.

Can the problem with the admin pages be solved?

   Sounds to me like corrupt firmware.  What _does_ still work?

   "unable"?  Is it not where it should be, or can you not get to where
it should be, or what?

 

   "unable" is not a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

   And did you try _reading_ the "Firmware upgrade instructions" in
those Release Notes (the "html" file)?

 

   If you can't get to the required "Firmware Update" or "Router Update"
page on the router's management web site, then you might need to employ
more primitive tools, like the TFTP recovery procedure.  See, for

Thank you for reaching out. Have you tried resetting the router? When did the issue start? Have you tried using the Genie app to access the configuration of the router?
