Its an older model, its obsolete if it can't give you the speeds that you pay for. You could use it as an access point to extend your coverage if you decide to upgrade. Otherwish yea older model of a router.

Obsolete. The list of now unsupported models is here www.netgear.com/about/eos/ . Click on routers and you will see your model.
