WRN2000v4 as access point for non internet connected switch
I am looking to use my WRN2000 as a wireless access point to a non internet connected switch, all the documentation mentiones "internet" and that is not something I have access to on this network. Is there a way to set up this router as a simple wireless access point to a non internet network?

Re: WRN2000v4 as access point for non internet connected switch
In theory yes..
Or.. you could leave the router in router mode, connect it to the the switch using a LAN port on the router. Let the router be the DHCP Server.
If you config the router for AP mode, you either have to use DHCP from the switch if it has it, or statically assign IP addresses for all your devices manually, for the network, unless you have a DHCP Server sitting on the switch..
Use unique SSID's / different passphrases so that everyone knows, whats what..
