Are you trying to kick someone off of your Wi-Fi network?  Some routers have a feature called Access Control that will allow you to whitelist specific devices and deny access to all others.  But given that this security feature is easily bypassed, I don't recommend using it.

The only other alternative is to change the Wi-Fi password.  Yes, it's a pain, but it's the only guaranteed way of kicking out a device.

Given how vague the original question is, can I also throw in the suggestion that you wield wire cutters? Just snip the wire that joins the device to the network.

Other than that, as people say, what network? what device?

Could be anything.

I connected my desktop computer to my Netgear router (wirelessly). It is already connected to the router with a wire. I disconnected the wireless connection to my desktop. The network map still shows a ghost image or the wireless connection to my desktop. How can I remove this Unused connection?
