Out of the blue two tablets in the house don't see the network but yet the desk top computer still does. Try rebooting router and modem no luck

1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. Is the desktop connecting via wireless as well?
3. Are there other devices (smartphones, laptops), other than the desktop, that can detect the wireless network?
4. Please try changing the wireless channel.
5. Does the issue persist on both bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz)?
