Wireless Router Caught on Fire

Wireless Router Caught on Fire

My Wifi Router caught on fire. Who do I warn? Can I get a new router sent to me to replace the defective one?

Never seen anything like that before. You should contact Netgear and see if they're willing to follow up on that. How old is that router by the way? Also report it on  and that will definitely get Netgear's attention.

Looks like the mains adapter. Was it Netgear's own brand, or a generic transformer?

I saw that sort of thing once when lightning struck the phone lines. Made a terrible mess of a bunch of electronics.

Just another user.

My network DM200 -> R7800 -> GS316 -> PL1000 -> Orbi RBR40 -> Orbi RBS50Y -> RBS40V
