can my WNR1000 v2 act as a wifi extender?

my company requires the use of a CISCO Meraki Z3 with a wired connection for home use.  Rather than buy a wifi extender, can I use my Netgear Wireless-N 150 Router WNR1000 v2 as a WIFI extender in which to wire the Meraki?

That would be a wireless access point.

Your router is an old device that may not come with an easy "switch" to get it into AP mode in the browser graphical user interface (GUI). But you should be able to find something out there

For example:

How to turn an old Wi-Fi router into an access point - CNET

Just another user.

My network DM200 -> R7800 -> GS316 -> PL1000 -> Orbi RBR40 -> Orbi RBS50Y -> RBS40V
