disable wireless isolation

Router model WNDR3400v2, firmware version V1.0.0.54_1.0.82 . This is the latest firmware version available for this router, no updates are available.

How do I disable 'wireless isolation'? This setting is on and havn't found any way to disable it. Found some old threads about this, but no solution. Thanks.

How, exactly, did you determine that "This setting is on"?  As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

   Thanks for the helpful links.

This is not  a vage description or interpretation. This is just a line

in router settings. In Advanced -> ADVANCED Home -> Wireless Settings. I have attached a screenshot. It says "Wireless isolation: On"

   Thanks for the helpful links.

Perhaps not coincidentally, those threads also contained snarky comments but no solution Smiley Happy

Ok.  That page shows a summary of various settings; it's not where
you change any of them.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Read.  Look for "wireless
isolation"?

Perhaps they, also, contained no useful problem descriptions.  With
my weak psychic powers, I (still) can't tell.

Re: disable wireless isolation

Well, in the manual, on page 70, it has the same screenshot I posted and it says

Wireless Isolation. Select this check box only if you want to prevent wireless connections to the router.

But there is not check box to select. It simply says 'On' in plain text and there is nowhere to select anything. Other mention is in Wireless Setup on p. 29, but there too there is no check box or setting you can change.

I see one in the picture in the manual.  Are you saying that it's
missing in real life?  If so, then an older firmware version might work
better:

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Downloads.  (For older versions, under Firmware and Software
Downloads, look for "View Previous Versions".)  Find the kit(s).
Download the kit(s) you want.  Read the "Release Notes" file for
instructions.

Re: disable wireless isolation

Thanks. Are you talking about the figure on page 70 of the manual? There is no check box for 'wireless isolation' in that figure. It just has a plain text value. There is a green check box next to the heading 'Wireless Settings'. Clikcing on that takes you to another page, which has no mention of wireless isolation. What I see is the same as what is shown in the manual.

   No.

I was talking about the picture(s) on page 28, as referred to "in
Wireless Setup on p. 29".
