I have a WNR100v3 router and it says a firmware update is available. When I click check for updates it does not seem to connect to the Netgear site. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You in advance.

I take it you mean the wnr1000v3?
You can manually download the update and install it? I highly recommend doing it this way as it tends to have the best results anyway

Might be time to check into an upgrade. that router was released in 2010. getting a bit on in the years and it was a pretty base level router when it was released anyway.
