Re: good neighbor policy
You have great signal output compare to other. Seems others are pretty far away from you so should work pretty well.
I take it's lowering to 150Mbps?

I assume you are NETGEAR1?
How the heck did you and TALKTALK-488512 manage to do that???
Are you using the original Netgear firmware, or are you using open source?

Do you really think that this should make a difference June?
jmizoguchi wrote: I take it's lowering to 150Mbps?
It's showing 270Mbps for both bonded networks. I am guessing you are asking if the mode will automatically adjust to 150Mbps when in actual use? I'd be interested in knowing too.

then are not using "good neighbor policy"
it lowers the Mbps if channel become an issues. You have good signal over rest of numerous listing of SSID's

Re: good neighbor policy
I see that Netgear1 is 35 db above the closest other user therefore it should stay bonded. I have bonded with 25 db of seperation with a 3700 & 4000. Just because other ssid's are visable it does not mean they are interferring. Below is a question I ask Netgear Engineering last week.
1)
What is the dbmv threshold it uses to determine if it detects an HT20 and then reverts to HT20 automatically itself.
Netgear: Actually, this is technology from chip vendor and they didn’t share it with Netgear, so I have no value about this.
My own testing showed that if it's 25 db lower than yours it will work. Tested in my home.
I hope this helps to answer your question.

Performance is fine get the full throughput of my conection around 4.2-4.7 mb on a 5mb line ping is reasonable at around 2ms to router at about 7m away all good

When I read his first post to me it seemed he was questioning if the GNP was being used based on his screenshot. I could be wrong though. I think he was surprised to see that his was working.

sounds like good to me and you are at 7M (22ft) from the router and you are happy with it then should be all good.

Thanks for all that info, especially seeing that it's based on actual tests that you have carried out.

Re: good neighbor policy
InSSIDer only shows the router beacons, and not activity, it does not show any associated wireless clients. This is just a guess, but maybe the Good Neighbour policy code only activates if it detects data transfers on other networks?

Yes! I followed the complete thread. That is why I said "based on actual tests" although I didn't know how much that testing was. And yes, I enjoyed a lager or two last night too!

I wonder if he/she knows that, regardless of the bug, it's illegal?

Re: good neighbor policy
Uk & US should use channel up to 11 while Asia market uses uptp channel 13
Pretty sure UK should be upto channel 11 if you choose UK as region
Channel choices are consider by the FCC and should follow within...
