moving from a house with fiber to the premises and need to connect my Orbi RBR50
I am moving house and at present I have Fiber to the premises and connect my Orbi RBR50 to an Openreach modem. In my new house. I am told that when the line is reconnected I should have a master sock...

My quick Web search didn't find much on the Plusnet Hub1, so it's not
obvious to me whether it has a modem-only ("bridge") mode. If not, or
if you can't find it, then, as previousy suggested, "configure the RBR50

That sounds to me like DSL, but I'd be more confident if you said it.

As a user of a D7000, I'd avoid any Netgear DSL modem products.

Still a mystery. This whole Q&A thing often works better if every Q
gets an A. Look for "?".

"disable the wifi" is not what's wanted. "Disable the _router_" is
what's wanted. Whether that's possible on your unspecified "their basic
modem/router" remains a mystery. Like everything else about it.

Treating that as a question ("?"), if you have DSL service, then a
suitable DSL modem ought to work.

So I have an Orbi RBR50 and a telephone socket in my house and need a modem so I can use rthe Orbi.
My ISP are providing a Fibre service and have sent me their basic router modem that would get me on line, but I really need the Mesh network my Orbi provides for greater coverage.
I have attached pictures of the Plusnet Hub1 router modem they sent me and the ADSL filter which goes in the telephone socket with a cable to the DSL port.
When I try to search for a modem I get lots of router modems, so was hoping to find the best modem that supports supports dual-band Wi-Fi fast enough not to limit the Orbi
