Re: r6400 router firmware upgrade
Did you ever find a solution? Im having the same problem. Try to follow manual and it says to upgrade via router. I connect and it tells me about the upgrade but when I submit, it comes back and says can't connect to Netgear website. I have downloaded the file unto my computers hard drive, but find no instructions on loading it into the router. Have Win 10 computer.

Is that accurate? R6400 or R6400v2? Look for "Model" on the product
label. Firmware version?

_Which_ "the file"?

Where did you look?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Downloads. (For older versions, under Firmware and Software
Downloads, look for "View Previous Versions".) Find the kit(s).
Download the kit(s) you want. Read the "Release Notes" file for
instructions. (In the User Manual, look for "firmware", and,
especially, for a topic like "Manually Upload Firmware to the Router".)
When that fails because of a deficient User Manual, try:
