I am trying to connect my xbox one directly to my WNDR4300 router via an ethernet cable and I cannot get the router to recognize the new connection. I have tried updatng the firmware and have the most up to date. I have also tried a reset of my entire system and still no luck. I have tried a different port and still nothing. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

check the cable and ports connect a cable to any two ports to verify ports and cable(s) are working, If they light up then you may have a bad box If they don't replace cable still don't light up replace router
