router not working

My internet went offline suddenly.  The router was showing bright white lights flashing. After some trouble shooting we did a factory reset for 7 seconds.  Now the Power amber light and several white lights are on and flashing but very dim that you can barley see them. Not sure if the router is bad, or i need help with trouble shooting?

If you visit the support pages:

Support | NETGEAR

you can feed in your model number and find the documentation for your hardware.

Check the section that explain what the LEDs mean. To me it looks like the firmware might be kaput.
