I cannot connect to my OOMA.  I have reset the router.  I have a new Cat5 cable.  When plugged into a port on the router the port light does not light up.  I think it should as when I move the blue cable to a differt port it does light up.

Re: wndr3400v3

easiest test when the only device having an issue is to try plugging a working device into the same port on the router with the same cable. If it works, the ooma's bad.

Are any other device having issues or only your Ooma?

Do these describe one thing, or two different things?

"New" and "good" are spelled differently for a reason.

That generally indicates a bad router port, a bad cable, or a bad (or
missing) device at the other end of the cable.

For a quick cable/port test, connect each end of a cable to a LAN
Ethernet port on the router, and observe the relevant port-status LED
indicators.  For a good cable (and good ports), both port-status LEDs
should indicate a maximum-speed connection.  (And they should agree.)

Have you decided between the cable and the device?  If you move the
cables, does the problem follow the cables?  A little logic can go a
long way when dealing with such problems.

Re: wndr3400v3

Thanks for the reply.  I will try to describe better.  A blue cable came with the Ooma.  When plugged into a port on the router the number of the port lights up.  After Ooma quit working I purchaed a new cat5 cable to connect the router and Ooma.  Still didn't work.  The port on the router the cable is plugged into does not light up with the number of the port.  Also there is no light on at the back of the Ooma.  I have rebooted the router.

Re: wndr3400v3

When i plug in both ends of the cable to the router the port numbers do light up.  I presume the internet port of the Ooma no longer works.
