wnr2000v5 wireless connection problems

I've researched how to solve the problem with my wireless connection. It says its not in range on my tablet and only works for seconds at a time. I did the factory reset, then uploaded the newest firmware, and then did the factory reset again. I'm still having poor wireless connection. What else can I do?

Have you tried other wireless devices aside from your tablet?

Does your tablet works with other wireless network?

What is the firmware version of the router?

How far is the table from the router when unable to connect?
