ACCESS POINT and ReadySHARE

Hi Friends,

is any one succeed setting up WNDR4000 as access point and using USB storage..?

i am using FVS318G as the main router (LAN IP 192.168.1.1) connected to WAN and connected WNDR4000 with the LAN IP 192.168.2.1. but i couldn't able to connect to my hard drive from my PC (via routerlogin.net domain). also right after i connect the WAN feed to WNDR4000 i couldn't able to go to the configuration page any more...

My hard drive is compatible because when i disconnect the WAN feed i could able to see my hard drive on my PC

any hint..?

thanks

Re: ACCESS POINT and ReadySHARE

What makes you think that if fvs is 192.168.1.1 and access point is set as 192.168.2.1 will work for oc that has 192.168.1.x

Correct as follow

192.168.1.1 fvs
192.168.1.2. 4000

Dchp range of fvs should be 192.168.1.3~192.168.1.254
