I've had this router for a long time, and never needed to have a guest connect to the Wi-Fi in my house. Now I do, and don't know where to find the guest network access password. I'm sure its in the setup somewhere, but where?

You didn't provide the model number of your router.
Generally, when you log into your router, you should see a Guest Network panel or tab on the home page. Click on it to access the guest network settings. Setup should be self-explanatory. If not, go to http://support.netgear.com, enter your router model and download the user manual.
