My modem supports 100 mbps. However, the AC1450 smart wifi router is only distributing 20 mbps. Would like to know how to increase speed to other parts of the house.

The wifi extenders are Netgear extenders, (outlet plugins) . Also using 'Amped Wireless' box to increase the bps on devices.
Testing is device using the extender.

How do you know that? What are you measuring the speed with?
What are the wifi clients on the receiving end of the wifi?
The router can spit out a squillion Mbps, but if your wifi receivers aren't up to it, they will never see that speed.
What firmware version do you have on the AC1450? A number is more useful than any vague "the latest" guesses. It may not be by the time people read this, and there can be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up in the browser interface.

I'm afraid that tells us nothing much. The AC1450 is a wifi router. What are these extenders?
Nor does the rest of your message. Tested how? With what? A wifi client of some sort?
What the heck is an "'Amped Wireless' box"?
Apologies for piling on the questions.
