Making 2 routers into 1.

So I've got 2 routers as you can see on the picture below.
For the people that don't know a steam link needs to be in the same network as the pc you want to run it on to work.
So my problem is my gaming pc is upstairs and I need to get the router from upstairs into the same network as downstairs to make my steam link work. How can I do this?
My upstairs router is a model MNDR3700v4
My downstairs router is a model R7000(nighthawk)

Enable Access Point (AP) mode in Advanced settings. Then reboot the gaming PC to ensure that it picks up a new IP address.

Does this work when one router isn't connected to the other one directly? (as you can see in the picture)

It looks like they are connected to each other through a switch or Powerline connection. That's fine.
