Port Fowarding - Connection Refused

Hello, I'm trying to create a Minecraft server for my friends on my computer, I opened port 25565 on my modem, I can join into my own server, but unlike me, my friends can not join!

How, exactly? What does "opened port X" mean to you? "my modem"? A
WNDR3700v4 is a router, not a modem. What is your "my modem"?
Assuming that you're talking about port forwarding, the usual
problems with this stuff are:
1. Wrong external IP address (different from the port-forwarding
router's WAN/Internet IP address). (An intermediate NAT router, for
example, could cause this.)
2. Bad port-forwarding rule (wrong port(s), wrong target address --
including a wandering target).
3. Server not listening on the port-forwarding target system.
4. External influences: ISP blocking, other firewalls, ...
