Wireless connection goes in and out

I have a WNDR3700 and a WNP3000RP range extender. Let's start off with saying that I have had zero luck with the range extender. I put in my bedroom and it continually drops the signal. I even paid netgear to help me with it but still no luck.

Ok. Taking the range extender out of the equation does not help out. My wireless network continually drops the signal even if I am sitting in the same room or in the next room about 30ft away. I am not sure what to do to fix this issue. It is upgraded to the latest firmware.

Here is my basic wireless settings.
2.4Ghz network
Channel 6
Mode up to 54mbps
WPA-PSK[TKIP]+WPA2-PSK[AES]

5Ghz
Channel 153
Mode up to 300mbps
WPA-PSK[TKIP]+WPA2-PSK[AES]

Any help would be appreciated.

check any channel interference.. use 1.6.11 and 13 for europe

it does sounds like your internal wireless is going out. I would also try power supply replacement if you have spare to test with

There are four different versions of the WNDR3700 router. IF the router you happen to own is a WNDR3700v2, then read the top sticky.
