My wifi will connect to my iPhone and roommates iPhone/MAC but when I try to use the internet while it’s connected it says “no internet connection”. It will however connect to my PC and the internet works. I’ve tried restarting the router and it didn’t help.
I can't understand most of that.
Start with AC1200. Which devuce is it?
AC1200 is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with an AC tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Then think of things the right way round. Apart from the Internet, your WiFi connects to nothing. Things connect to your WiFi.
Does your iPhone connect to the WiFi from your router?
Does your PC connect to the Internet through the router? Is that over WiFi?
If the PC connects and the iPhone doesn't, that suggests that the problem is with the iPhone.
