After update won’t let me log in

Please help. Can do anything from my phone anymore after the update

Same here my phone auto updated the app and now it won’t let me login to monitor my network on the iPhone app

I wish I didn’t update , can’t understand how an update is rolled without testing all elements beforehand

I’m having the same issue and I’ve blocked a couple of devices that my kids use and now can’t unblock them cause I can’t log in.
Need help asap

What did you update? Your phone? One of the various genies? If so, which one? And which version?

 

The genie could be one of several things, the browser interface, a Windows or Mac application, or an Android/iThing app.

I updated Genie’s app on iPhone xr
My genie currently running a V3.1.70
Frameware version v2.08.07
Router model CG3000v2

The app connect to my wifi no issue the only issue is I can’t connect to the ‘network map’ anymore

The error login msg I get is

LOGIN FAILED
NETGEAR router was not found or not supported make sure you mobile device is not connected to the router’s guest network and that IPv6 is not enabled.


I mean the app was working fine nothing was change at all the only thing changed is the app got updated and I wish I didn’t

App doesn't work on iPhone or iPad after update. It worked then I updated and now it doesn't work. Someone at Netgear needs to get their arse into gear and sort this out a.s.a.p!!!!

I only use genie for the map never used anything else on the maps but I clicked on MyMedia and I can see my tv setup box and some of the movies stored on it

So yes the answer to your question is the Map ONLY isn’t connecting or passing the error msg mentioned in my earlier post

I wish I didn’t block some of my devises and I wish I never used this app from the beginning.

I have the same problem, today automatically update the Genie App, and now " Login Failed " with corret password ( only with app ) 

D7000 with last firmware .70 / iPhone 7 iOS 12.1.3 / Genie App 3.1.70.

This tells us nothing about what you actually see, what you are doing and if you have paid any attention to previous messages and tried the various suggestions.

Hey Michael, the App does not work correctly. You can not login into Network Map or any of the other functions. If you had read previous messages you would have understood. THE APP DOES NOT LET YOU LOG IN!!!!!!.

 

Tells us why this is and how to get over the problem or shut up!

After the genie app was updated on an iPhone X- it will not permit local access to to my nighthawk router. I can access using remote access but when usin local it stated login failed. The user id: admin Id and password are correct. Is there a fix for this?

With the last update of Genie App 3.1.72, the problem has not been resolved.

Always can't login with correct Username ( can't be changed ) / Password, in the local network with Genie App.

Until version 3.1.64 everything worked without problems, please fix it.

After iphone update, genie continues to not allow login.
Have checked -router firmware is up to date
Any sign of a new app release - looks like the fault - or other solution ??

If it was an iPhone update that killed the login and nothing has changed on the router then it is more likely to be the phone update that broke things. Look at that for fixes.
