Disable genie admin panel for guest wi-fi
R7800 with Firmware 1.0.2.46.
Why is the Netgear genie admin panel accessible while on Guest wi-fi network?
From security perspective, is there a way to disable this?

Re: Disable genie admin panel for guest wi-fi
Hi @Kumazatheef,
Welcome to the community!
1. What version of Genie do you have installed?
2. Does the issue persist on all your devices (Android, iOS, Windows, Mac)?
3. Are you referring to the UI that is accessed through a web browser?

Dexter

Re: Disable genie admin panel for guest wi-fi
Oh hey, look, now I can actually log in to Netgear Community and Reply, I gave up a couple weeks on this since it was painfully busted, but figured would give it 1 more go ...
K, so some things ...
The "Allow guests to see each other and access my local network" is checked, and I suspect this comes back to the many threads + questions talking about guest network isolation.
I want guests to allow access, but have very limited ability on what they can do ...
By checking "Allow guests to see each other and access my local network", they can see everything , and thus: how's that any different than just letting them access the normal, non-guest network?
