Genie Won't run
I have a MacPro with OSX Sierra installed. The Genie app installs fine, but when I go to open it, it makes it to the selection screen (parental controls, network map, wifi, etc) for about 1/2 a second and then crashes. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling, but the same thing happens.

Re: Genie Won't run
Yes, NETGEARGenie has always been a memory hog but for past few months it's been a very CRASHY memory hog. I've even reinstalled macOS hoping the problem would go away, but it did not.
The app works for a while. I use it occasionally to allow AirPrint (iPhone/iPad printing) since my old Samsung SCX-4500 laser printer does not support it natively. But eventually (within hours of restarting it) it crashes again. I've submitted the crash report to Apple repeatedly, hopefully someone at Netgear is working on this.
