Is this something to do with the genie? (That's the topic for this section.) If so, which one? It could be one of several things, the browser interface, a Windows or Mac program for a PC, or a mobile Android/iThing app. Netgear labels them all as genies. Which are you using?

Of course, when something works on one device, the macbook, and not on others, the first thought is that the router is doing its stuff and the problem is with those "other" devices. And that can be a beast to diagnose.

All devices access server by WiFi
there is no Genie app installed on Macbook pro, access to ReadyShare folders is made through IOS ( Finder>go>network). no problems accessing. folders only

Genie app is installed on Iphone and Ipad. Can access photos library and video library ("local" tab) but not Readyshare tab>folders: permission denied
