bypass account doesnt work on android device

Netgear Genie time block settings works fine on PC ( to restrict kids after 9pm through to 8am )

Bypass account on PC and android allows access for parents during these hours.

Bypass account on PC (windows) works

Bypass account on phone (android) does not work (Asus, Zenphone).

Bypass account is loogged into on Asus phone.  Bypass account shows as 'ticked'

Apk has been uninstalled and reloaded. Phone turned off and restarted.

Modem shut down, rebooted, parental control turned off, turned on.

Bypass account on PC reacts as expected, but nothing seems to make the bypass account on Android work.

It shows as being active... however the parental controls are in place (ie. phone is limited by the parental controls, the bypass is not working)

Other similar entries are dated 2015 & 2016, with solution being a BETA firmware.

I have update firmware on router Nighthawk d7000 and latest Netgear genie apk.

Any assistance appreaciated.

1. Does the issue persist on other Android devices?

2. Are you side-loading the APK or installing the Playstore version?

3. Did it work before?

I only have 1 android device I try to use it on.

I am loading from playstore, I don’t know what side loading is.

Yes I think it worked before, but had a lot of problems trying to set the router up so just gave up and turned everything back on.

Please try setting the filtering level for the Android device to "None" and see if it works. Please keep us posted on the results.

Unfortunately it made no difference.

The router and phone have both been restarted after making the change.  Same problem exists.
