support for EX6150v2 in iOS App Genie

Hello,

It seems my EX6150v2 isn't supported in the iOS Netgear App Genie, which is a disappointing.

Can somebody confirm?

Will that ever change?

Thanks

Re: support for EX6150v2 in iOS App Genie

WiFi Extenders are not covered at all - neither by the Genie App nor by the Nighthawk App here the later one seems to replace Genie App in many aspects.

Netgear does in my view miss a big opportunity by not integrating the WiFi Extenders with the Netgear routers in general. Should be manageable from a single point, being the router and/or wireless AP Genie Web or the Apps.

Like @schumaku says.

The way to control an extender is to find its IP address and point your browser at that.

If you are lucky, this will work: www.mywifiext.net.

Thanks!

Sad to hear the confirmation.

And I totally agree with you... very disappointing of Netgear.

Not on par with competitors.
