BR500 - Block IP's by Country/Region
I have a BR500 Router.
Is it possible to block IP's by country/region?
If so, how?

Hello,
Not by country, but you can restrict IP ranges under the traffic rules in the BR500 interface. Is there a reason why you would like to restrict a specific countries IP range?

Re: BR500 - Block IP's by Country/Region
On the Bitvise SFTP server there are many (in the thousands) entries of logon attempts from China and Russia. Bitvise allows me to block those by country/region. I would like my router to do the job of firewalling the traffic from those countries/regions rather that the server. I see no need for their traffic to be passed into the LAN.
So there is no way for the BR500 to do this?
Is there a small business router/firewall that can?
Managing a boatload of subnets to block seems quite tedious.

The BR500 does not support that feature at this time. It is a good idea and I recommend to bring it up in the Ideas Exchange section to raise awareness on this feature request:
