BR500 OPEN VPN CONNECTION ERROR
Hi! Everyone!
I am troubling in connecting to openvpn by BR500.
I am beginner in Vpn manage. I am using br500 in my house.
My computing system are belows.
- WIN8.1 x 64
- BR500 is the 2nd router. So to speak, BR500 is connecting to any other router by Wan port.
- Internet is well connected by commercial provider in house.
- Ip is supplied by DHCP.
- Dynamic DNS was well issued as Netgear manual and comfirmed by my email as I know.
- As manual, I received 4 key config. files and copied these files one or two dir.(my documents/openvpn folder or c;/programfilses/openvpn) each one or at once. At this point, I was confusing. In manual, c;/programfilses/openvpn is suggested as copying folder, but before copying, I found that my documents/openvpn folder is existing also. Since this, I was confused in copying.
- So so, and then I renamed TAP adaper to Netgear-vpn by notice of manual.
-And I operated downloaded openvpn connection utility program.
---------------------------------------------------------------
After this, error messsage was issued. The content was attached by jpeg files as belows.
I attached some my information files for solution.
What was wrong?? Please regart this and reply to me!
Thanks everyone!!!

Re: BR500 OPEN VPN CONNECTION ERROR
Hello,
What version of the OpenVPN client are you using?
If you download the smart phone file from the BR500 it will have a single file an OVPN file. In the task manager at the bottom right, right click the OpenVPN client and import file. Import the OVPN file instead of the files that were in the windows package. After you have imported that file attempt to connect again and please let me know if you receive the same error.
