BR500 Power Requirements
What are the actual voltage and current requirements for the BR500. One datasheet says it has a 12V/1.5A power adapter and another says it has a 5V/5A power adapter. I need to know the actual input voltage and current to the router. Thanks

Thanks for the helpful titles and links.
Looking in the usual place, I see that the "Technical specifications"
section of the User Manual says "5VDC @ 5A output", while the Product
Data Sheet says "Output: DC 12V/1.5A".
I know nothing, but the Installation Guide and Hardware Installation
Guide include a picture of the back panel, which apparently agrees with
the "DC 12V/1.5A" spec.
My limited experience with other models suggests that 12V is more
likely that 5V, especially when that 5V is paired with 5A, which would
be an unusually high current for such devices. (Greater current -> more
copper -> greater cost. Not the Netgear way.) But what do I know?

Isn't it on the label on the device itself? It is on everything Netgear that I have ever owned. And on the adapter itself.

Re: BR500 Power Requirements
The unit is at a remote, unattended site so I don't have access to it. That's why I asked the question here - maybe someone could tell me.

Re: BR500 Power Requirements
The BR500 (and BR200) User Manuals are wrong - both come supplied with 12V 1.5A DC output power supplies.
