BR500 site to site vpn
I’m getting ready to replace some FVS318 VPN routers with the BR500 routers for some site to site VPN’s. The manual doesn’t have anything about setting site to site up, but it does have stuff about client to site VPN. Or did I miss that section of the downloaded manual? With a client to site VPN it looks like each user has to have a VPN license, unless they are using OpenVPN. Or do they have to have a license for OpenVPN also? Does site to site require a license? The old FVS’s did need one for clients but not for sites.

Re: BR500 site to site vpn
Hi sosccbiz,
Welcome to our community!
It requires a license for a box to box VPN connection. For 1 VPN group, it can only support up to 3 VPN connections.
If ever your concern has been addressed or resolved, I encourage you to mark the appropriate reply as the “Accepted Solution” so others can be confident in benefiting from the solution. The NETGEAR Community looks forward to hearing from you and being a helpful resource in the future!
