Complete: NETGEAR BR500 VPN System Maintenance Period Feb 23, 10PM PTD
As part of our continued commitment to improve your NETGEAR BR500 VPN experience, a system maintenance period is scheduled as follows:
Maintenance Period Start Date and Time: Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 22:00:00 PDT (10PM PDT) End Date and Time: Monday, February 24, 2020 at 00:00:00 PDT During the scheduled maintenance, your BR500 router will continue to work as usual, except for its VPN connection. The site-to-site or client-to-site VPN connection might become disconnected, and you should avoid making any changes to VPN related settings. After the maintenance period, the site-to-site or client-to-site VPN connection should automatically reconnect. In case it does not, you can perform the following:
If the VPN client does not connect, manually log out, then log in to try again. If the site-to-site connection between the routers does not re-establish, browse to the local GUI of the BR500 router [https://%3cip_of_BR500%3e/support.html]https://<ip_of_BR500>/support.html, and switch the connection to any available VPN server IP address in the list. You only need to do this from one of the BR500s in each VPN group to re-establish the connection through the selected VPN server.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, use the Insight app or Insight Cloud Portal to restart the BR500 routers.
