Is it possible to remotely manage BR200 without Insight? (Router doesn't accept Port forw to itself)
Hi,
is it somehow possible to remotely manage the BR200 without using Insight whatsoever?
We need/want to be able to access the router's web admin GUI from the internet without Insight subscription.
Port-forwarding/NAT to itself does not seem to be accepted by the router because it then states:
"Not a valid IP address".
Another question arises together with the above one:
Does the router need to be completely reconfigured if going from 'manually managed' to 'Insight managed'?

Netgear has started to remove the classic remote access from many router products last year already for the ubiquitous security reasons.
Of course you can't configure any kind of NAT loopback referring to the router own LAN IP.
